Phase I ESA (Phase 1 ESA)
In the United States, according to the Superfund program established by the U.S. Congress, both current and previous owners can be held liable for the cleanup of any contamination found on a parcel of property. A comprehensive environmental assessment is the appropriate way to identify, prevent, and/or reduce such liabilities.
